The Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization

Bucharest:  In May 2017, the Parliament of Romania enacted new legislation establishing The Institute for Advanced Studies in Levant Culture and Civilization (ISACCL) in Bucharest as a  CENTER OF EXCELLENCE OF THE WORLD ACADEMY OF ART & SCIENCE. ISACCL is a permanent government-funded research institution in partnership with WAAS, WUC and the Romanian Academy of Sciences. The founding of ISACCL has been the result of a six-year Levant for Global Peace Initiative launched by WAAS Trustee Emil Constantinescu, former President of Romania and founding President of ISACCL, to establish a permanent research institute to promote peace in the Levant through cultural diplomacy.

The International Centre for Sustainable Development of Energy, Water, and Environment System

Zagreb: The International Centre for Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems located in Croatia is a non-governmental and non-profit organization headed by WAAS Fellow Neven Duić. SDEWES was approved as a WAAS Centre after conducting six highly successful conferences on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems to provide a wider platform for communication and exchange of ideas between scientists and researchers that promotes multidisciplinary approaches to sustainability. WAAS has been a co-sponsor for a number of these conferences. The SDEWES center promotes the sustainable development of energy, water, and environment systems through the organization of courses, summer schools, public lectures, seminars and workshops and by providing a professional opinion on important issues of sustainability.

The Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts

Podgorica: At the invitation of the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts, WAAS established the Podgorica Centre in June 2012 under the leadership of Momir Djurovic, Former President of MASA, when we jointly conducted a major conference and general assembly.

The Mother's Service Society

Pondicherry: The Mother's Service Society, a social science research institute based in Pondicherry, India, and CENTER OF EXCELLENCE OF THE WORLD ACADEMY OF ART & SCIENCE under the direction of Garry Jacobs, President & CEO of WAAS and Vice President of MSS and Ashok Natarajan, WAAS Fellow and Secretary of MSS. WAAS and MSS jointly conduct research and conferences on a wide range of subjects including global leadership, education, human security, economic theory, new paradigm, employment, individuality, transdisciplinary social science, management, mind and creativity.  Click here for a complete list of WAAS-MSS past activities.

The Person-Centered Approach Institute

Rome: The World Academy is proud to include the Person-Centered Approach Institute, Italy as an official WAAS center. IACP is one of the largest psychological counseling and post graduate psychological education and training institutions for psychotherapists, teachers, and counselors in Italy, co-founded by the world-renowned psychologist Carl Rogers and WAAS Trustee and Chair of the Board Alberto Zucconi in 1979. Headquartered in Rome, IACP conducts research, training, and consultancy to protect and promote human capital. IACP is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education for post-doctoral training courses and is an official Collaborating Centre of WHO and ILO on health promotion training and research. IACP is associated with the Western Behavioral Sciences Institute, an international think tank and is a member of the International University Centre (IUC) of Dubrovnik. In 2012 it received from the American Psychological Association, Division 32, Bühler Award for outstanding and lasting contributions to humanistic psychology. IACP is also one of the founding charter members of the World University Consortium and has offered its long experience in fund-raising to assist the Academy in financing its research projects.

The Serbian Association of Economists

Belgrade: The Serbian Association of Economists (SAE) aims to pursue goals in the field of advancement of economic science and practice in Serbia. Since its founding, SAE has been headed by the most prominent academics, economic practitioners and highest representatives of state administration and regulatory bodies.  Its main activities include: organizing scientific assemblies, counseling meetings, seminars, round tables, and thematic gatherings; publishing about its activities within the Ekonomika Preduzeća journal; knowledge transfer through education and training; cooperation with higher education institutions, regulatory and government bodies; and cooperation with related organizations in the country and abroad.
